The Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry
is an association of producers of phonograms and videograms. It has been authorized by the Ministry of Culture to act as a collective rights management organization. ZPAV was founded in 1991 at the initiative of a group of people from the record industry, mainly to represent the interests of legitimate music producers against piracy flooding Poland at that time (estimated 95% of the total market). The Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry receives the Status of the National Group of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry IFPI.

1. Ordinary membership can be granted to a physical person or legal person who is a producer of phonograms or videograms, who disseminates or distributes phonograms or videograms or whose commercial activity is closely related to the production of phonograms or videograms.
2. A foreigner can be a ZPAV member regardless of his place of residence.
